Why structure matters more than intelligence in communication

People don't respond to complexity. They respond to clarity.

We tend to think the smartest person in the room is the one who knows the most. In communication, it's almost the opposite.

The person who can take a complex idea and deliver it in a clean, simple structure is the one people listen to. Not because they oversimplify — but because they respect the listener's attention.

Structure is what makes intelligence usable to other people. Without it, even brilliant ideas don't move.
